Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination

An MPRE scaled score of 75 is required for admission to the NM State Bar. The exam is offered three times annually. You may sit for the exam at any location it is offered and have the score reported to this office. The exam dates and filing deadlines are as follows:

* An applicant whose religious beliefs preclude him or her from taking the examination on a Saturday, March 8 or November 8, may apply to take the MPRE on Sunday afternoon, March 9 or November 9.

DIRECTIONS TO CERTIFY MPRE SCORES

If you have taken the MPRE previously and received a scaled score of 75, you can have your score certified to this office by writing to the following address:

Your request should include your name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, test date, signature, and each board of bar examiners you wish to receive a copy of your scores. Enclose $15.00 for each board of bar examiners you request. Checks should be made payable to the National Conference of Bar Examiners. Or you can complete the form on www.ncbex.org and mail that with the $15 fee.
