As of September 1, 2011, an MPRE scaled score of 80 is required for admission to the NM State Bar. The exam is offered three times annually. You may sit for the exam at any location it is offered and have the score reported to this office. The exam dates and filing deadlines are as follows:

* An applicant whose religious beliefs preclude him or her from taking the examination on a Saturday, March 17 or November 3, may apply to take the MPRE on Sunday.

DIRECTIONS TO CERTIFY MPRE SCORES

If you took the MPRE prior to September 1, 2011 and received a scaled score of 75 or better, or after September 1, 2011 and received a scaled score of 80 or better, you can have your score certified to this office by writing to the following address:

Your request should include your name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, test date, signature, and each board of bar examiners you wish to receive a copy of your scores. Enclose $25.00 for each board of bar examiners you request. Checks should be made payable to the National Conference of Bar Examiners. Or you can complete the form on www.ncbex.org and mail that with the $25 fee.
