Original Signature Required On All Forms

Before getting the application form, please make sure you have downloaded all four of the other forms (all but one of which need to be sent in at the same time in duplicate).

Be sure to read the instructions below for completing the forms off the Internet. The application and release forms must be completed on your typewriter or computer, and signed, notarized (where required) and mailed or delivered to the NM Board of Bar Examiners, 9420 Indian School Road, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. You may not e-mail or submit your forms on disk. You will need two copies of the application form, but you can print it out once, enter your answers and then make a copy of that. Both copies will then need to be signed, notarized and mailed in.
Choose one of the following ways to obtain the forms you need to take the New Mexico Bar Exam:

• You can download the form in rich text format in Word which should open in Word for Windows, Word 97, Word for Macintosh, or any word processing program which can open Word. You can then complete the form in your wordprocessor (please make sure your answers are entered in bold).
• If you prefer not to work off the Internet, you may request that an application packet be mailed to you. This packet includes the instructions, rules, and application form on disk and a hardcopy of the application. There is a $20.00 fee for this service. Mail your check and request to the NM Board of Bar Examiners, 9420 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
