Dates of the 2010 Bar Examinations
Receipt Deadlines and Fees
These are receipt deadlines (your application must be received by that date NOT postmarked). Applications filed after the filing deadline will be assessed a late fee. See Rule 15-105 A for applicable late fees and deadlines.
February 23 and 24, 2010
- Receipt Deadline for ALL First-Time Applicants
to the New Mexico Bar:
- September 10, 2009
February Bar Exam Late Application Deadlines:
October 10, 2009 — Late Fee $50
November 9, 2009 — Late Fee $100
December 9, 2009 — Late Fee $150
January 5, 2010 (Last day for first-time exam takers to apply) — Late Fee $200

July 27 and 28, 2010
- Receipt Deadline for ALL First-Time Applicants
to the New Mexico Bar:
- January 11, 2010 (January 10th is a postal holiday)
July Bar Exam Late Application Deadlines:
February 10, 2010 — Late Fee $50
March 12, 2010 — Late Fee $100
April 12, 2010 — Late Fee $150
June 5, 2010 (Last day for first-time exam takers to apply) — Late Fee $200

Application Fees:
For applicants out of law school for less than one year from your date of graduation, the filing fee is $450 plus a late fee if applicable.
For applicants out of law school for more than one year, the filing fee is $800 plus a late fee if applicable.
No Part of the Fee is Refundable. See Rule 15-105 B.
